Navigation will be restricted at Lock 58 on the Trent & Mersey Canal on the towpath side between 8 am and 5 pm on Monday, 16 November 2026 while contractors carry out repairs to the balance beam.
During this period navigation will remain open via the offside lock which must be operated by the lock keepers who will be on site.
Whilst the offside Lock will remain open, there may be a slight delay whilst the area is made safe to pass.
Please approach the area with caution, be prepared to stop if required, and follow any instructions given by the contractors on site.
