Canal and River Trust divide waterways into 1km stretches called FLOCs (Functional Locations). When logging boat locations, CRT staff use FLOC codes instead of GPS coordinates for precise licensing records.

Sightings for your boat are logged by CRT staff and you're able to see them on your CRT Licensing account.
