Please be advised that navigation through Hawkesbury Lock is currently closed due to a mechanical failure.
The paddle rod has become detached, meaning the lock cannot be operated safely and has been taken out of service.
A planned stoppage is already scheduled at this location from 2 November. As a result, this unplanned stoppage will remain in place until the commencement of the planned works, with repairs to be undertaken as part of that stoppage.
