Please be advised that principal inspections of the Northern Outfall Sewer (NOS) structure will be taking place. These works will primarily involve visual inspections of the structure.
Advance notification of the towpath closure will be displayed prior to the works commencing. During the inspection period, the towpath will be temporarily closed, with a signed diversion route in place. A banksman will also be on site when access beneath the bridge is required to help ensure the safety of all towpath users.
To minimise disruption, the towpath will remain open and fully accessible to the public outside of the site's standard working hours of 7:30am to 5:30pm.
