During the winter season 2026/2027, Harecastle Tunnel will be open on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays only. All passages must be booked in advance. Bookings must be made at least 48 hours prior to travel.

- Tuesday 29 December 2026:CLOSED
- Wednesday 30 December 2026: 9:00am – 12:00 noon
- Thursday 31 December 2026: CLOSED
- Friday 1 January 2027: CLOSED
- Saturday 2 January 2027: CLOSED
- Sunday 3 January 2027: CLOSED
The tunnel will resume its normal winter operating schedule from Monday 4 January 2027.
