A navigation closure is required to enable essential repairs to be carried out to both the head and tail gates at Swanley Lock 2. Swanley Bridge Marina remains open and accessible throughout the duration of the work. The works will include boarding of the gates, mitre repairs, quoin post repairs and cill repairs to address water loss through the lock. These repairs are required to improve the operation of the lock, reduce water loss and maintain safe navigation through the flight. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience and understanding while we complete these essential repairs.
