A third-party rowing event will be taking place on Sunday 1st November 2026 from 9:00am until 3:30pm on the River Stort.
The event will be taking place between Bridge 52, Station Road and Lock 5, Sawbridgeworth Lock.
The navigation will remain open, but we kindly ask you to stay alert and proceed with care while passing through the area.
This event is subject to water resources available closer the event date.
The visitor moorings by Twyford Lock will be suspended for the event from 8:00am until 5:30pm on Sunday 1st November 2026. The moorings will be signposted.
