Waterway Notices / Keadby lock, Keadby; near Scunthorpe, Stainforth & Keadby Canal

The repair was successful in stemming a large amount of the water entering the lock chamber. We can now recommence operating the lock when the river level is below that of the canal. Some further remedial works are still required to allow us to use the lock at the lowest levels. Therefore, we will only currently accept bookings from up river, leaving West Stockwith Lock or Gainsborough Pontoon. Bookings from down river should be unaffected.
