Waterway Notices / Tyle Mill Bridge and carpark.

Please note the following updated arrangements:

• The Swing Bridge will remain closed until 5:00pm on 9th October 2026.
• Car park repair works will commence on Monday 12th October 2026 and are scheduled to be completed by 5:00pm on 14th October 2026.

There have been a number of changes to the scope and sequencing of the works as the project has progressed in order to align the project with the available budget.

Please be advised that contractors will be completing necessary works to Tyle Mill Bridge and carpark.

    The contractor's working hours are typically 07:00 to 17:00. Pedestrian access to facilities will be available:

• Before works commence each morning (approximately 07:15 to 07:45)
• During the lunch (approximately 12:00 to 12:30)
• Before the contractor leaves site each day (approximately 16:30 to 17:00)

  Navigation will remain open throughout the works. Access to water and bin facilities for boating customers will be maintained.

Carparking will be available on the south side of the navigation opposite the lock
