Please be advised that repair works are scheduled to take place at Widmead Lock from 23rd September until 24th September 2026 by our contractors. To minimise disruption to navigation the lock will remain open throughout the works and a full closure will not be required.
However during certain stages of the repairs, customers may experience delays of up to three hours while works are undertaken.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank customers for their patience and cooperation while these essential repairs are completed.
