Please be advised that volunteer teams will be carrying out vegetation clearance works from a workboat on Chirk Aqueduct on Friday 18 September.
To allow these works to be carried out safely, navigation through the aqueduct will be temporarily restricted between 10:30am and 3:00pm. During this period, navigation will be stopped while work is taking place, but the team will clear waiting boats through at regular intervals.
We will aim to ensure that boats are delayed for no longer than two hours before being escorted through the work area.
Please follow any instructions given by volunteers on site and proceed with care when passing through the area.
