Gloucester Docks Moorings Closed Due to Silt Levels Please be advised that, due to increasing silt levels within Gloucester Docks, all visitor and customer moorings are closed until further notice.
The navigation channel between Gloucester Lock and Hempsted remains open and navigable.
Boating customers are advised not to stop within Gloucester Docks and should continue their passage directly to Hempsted before mooring.
Unfortunately, as a result of this closure, the water point and Elsan disposal facilities by LLanthony Bridge are also unavailable.
