Since our previous update, contractors have attended site and confirmed that there is no blockage within the elsan facility. Further investigations have identified that the issue is related to waste backing up into the car park when the system is flushed. therefore, the customer services remain closed.

Specialist Contractors have therefore been instructed to attend site to investigate further.

A further update will be provided on or before Tuesday 22 September.

Since our last update contractors have been delayed in attending site due to other priority jobs.

The elsan remains closed due to blocked drains until contractors can attend site.

A further update will be provided on or before Friday 18 September.

The elsan at Carnforth Customer Services on the Lancaster Canal is currently closed due to blocked drains.

Contractors have been instructed to attend and clear the blockage.
