We would like to advise our customers that we have had to close the stretch of canal between Bridge 47 and Bridge 55 due to a bed valve failure, which has resulted in a small leak within the canal bed.

Contractors have carried out temporary repair works; however, the permanent repair will be undertaken during the winter maintenance programme.
