Please be advised that Lock 65, West Stockwith Lock will be closed to navigation to allow essential refurbishment works to be carried out on the lock gates.
The works include refurbishment of the gate hydraulic cylinders, together with renewal of the associated hydraulic cylinder framework and gate bracketry. These repairs are required due to the deteriorating condition of the assets and to address issues with gate operation.
