Third-party contractors will be on site at Bridge 45a on the Macclesfield Canal to carry out a detailed inspection of the footbridge.
The works will take place from 8 am to 6 pm on Monday 14 September 2026.
Ladders and ropes will be in place during the inspection. Please approach the area with caution and be prepared to stop to allow the equipment to be moved safely and follow any instructions given by the contractors on site.
We expect any delays to be no longer than 30 minutes.
