Specialist contractors will be on site at Richmond Hill Embankment on the Macclesfield Canal to carry out grouting repairs to the embankment.
The works are scheduled to take place from 9 am on Tuesday 25 August 2026 until 5 pm on Friday 4 September 2026.
Whilst both the towpath and navigation will remain open, there will be a pontoon moored near the area, and we ask that boats and customers approach the area with caution and listen to any advice that may be given by the contractors on site.
