Zouch Lock 55 on the River Soar is closed from Thursday, 20th August while emergency repairs are carried out to the lock gates.
The lock is currently not operational but will be re-opened as soon as the repairs are completed and it is safe to do so.
The nearest winding holes are Bishop Meadow Lock in Loughborough and London Road Marina in Kegworth.
