To facilitate essential improvement works, the access point at Bridge 112 will be temporarily closed from 24 August 2026 until 12 October 2026.

During this period, our team will be carrying out bank stabilisation and repair works. Due to the nature of the construction activities and the limited space available at the worksite, it is not possible to complete these works safely whilst maintaining pedestrian access along the towpath.

For the safety of the public and site personnel, the towpath will remain closed for the duration of the works.
