The water levels have returned to normal. The navigation restriction for this notice is lifted and skippers of all crafts are able to travel under the bridge with no heights restrictions in place.

We have a navigation restriction in place for crafts that reach the maximum air draft needed to go under the bridge in normal circumstances. The canal level is 90mm higher than normal as we have had to store water in the pound between Oxclose Lock and Bellfurrows Lock. This has reduced the air draft for crafts by 90mm going under the bridge.
