To protect the limited water resources and ensure safe navigation for all users of the Lancaster Canal, passage through the Ribble Link has been temporarily closed for bookings.
We will continue to monitor water levels daily and provide updates every fortnight, or sooner if conditions change.
As soon as water levels have recovered sufficiently, these restrictions will be lifted.
If you are unable to move your boat, require assistance, or have any specific needs, please contact our North West Customer Support Team on 0303 040 4040.
A further update will be on or before Monday 3 August.

As soon as the water levels have replenished enough to allow safe navigation, restrictions will be lifted.
