There is a build up of flood debris in the lock chamber of Ratcliffe Lock 58 on the River Soar. This is preventing the bottom gates from opening fully.
Narrowboats will still be able to pass through the lock, however widebeams will not manage.
We are working to resolve this as quickly as possible and have flood debris removal works scheduled for 15th to 17th April.
We will update this notice once the works are complete.
