Please be advised that following a period of review, we have removed the Environment Agency flow gauge at Newbury from our Strong Stream Warnings page.
The Newbury gauge has recently shown inconsistencies in its readings. Until these issues are resolved, we recommend using the Woolhampton gauge as the primary guide.
We will reinstate the Newbury flow gauge as soon as consistent and accurate readings are available.
In the meantime, please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.
