We have been alerted to a pollution incident affecting the canal between Aldridge Marina and Aldridge Wharf Bridge, Walsall.
As a result, navigation has been temporarily closed in this section. Spill pads and containment booms are currently in place, and it is essential that boats do not pass through the area, as movement would risk dispersing the pollution further.
We are actively monitoring the situation and will provide an update as soon as it is safe to reopen navigation.
