Navigation remains closed at Lock 13 W on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal due to the failure of the offside head gate paddle.
Our local team have attended site and they have inspected the paddle and are now working on a method of repair.
A further update will be provided on or before Friday 6 February.

Navigation is closed at lock 13 West on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal due to the failure of the offside head gate paddle. Our local team have identified what we need to carry out to repair the paddle. A further update will be issued on Thursday 5th February 2026.
