Contractors will be carrying out inspections and repairs to the railway bridges, using a pontoon in the canal.
The pontoon will be entering the water at the Doncaster Sea Cadets building and will then move up to the lock. The work is expected to last three to five days, depending on what the inspections finds.
Boaters may be asked to wait up to 30 minutes whilst equipment is removed out of the way. Please be patient and respond appropriately to any instructions given by the contractors.
