Due to additional work being identified, Cadent Gas are continuing remediation works to the gas pipeline that spans both the canal and railway line at Bridge 4b on the Fossdyke Canal near Burton Waters, Lincolnshire. The work will continue until 31st March 2026 during the hours of 8am and 6pm (Monday to Friday).
Contractors will temporarily stop work to allow the safe passage of boats and pedestrians. Although this is in close proximity to the canal it will not affect the navigation or towpath. Please be aware of increased activity.
