To ensure the safe repair of the high masonry retaining wall, a scaffold will be installed over the towpath at Station Road Bridge 2 on the Nottingham and Beeston Canal.

The wall was significantly damaged by a vehicle in the higher level car park.

Boating customers will remain unaffected throughout the works. During scaffold installation and removal, banksmen will be present to guide towpath users safely.

Once the scaffold is in place, there will be unhindered passage. Customers should exercise caution and follow any on-site guidance provided.
