A third-party contractor is installing scaffolding at the rear of the towpath.
Tree-cutting works are to be undertaken at the start of the works' duration to enable scaffold installation.
The towpath is to remain open.
Signage is to be placed both upstream and downstream of the works to notify boaters and towpath users.
