As we are in the Winter period, we will not have regular weekly sessions where volunteers assist passage between locks 1 and 4 of the Rochdale Canal. Instead, we will arrange passage with a minimum of seven days notice given, for boat movement in this stretch. Should you wish to have passage, please contact our Customer Service team on 03030 404040, and we will work with you to arrange this..

As we are approaching the Christmas Period, the last passage through Tuel Lane Lock will be on Friday 19th December 2025. Please contact the Customer Services Team on 03030 404040 (Mon - Fri, 8am - 4:30pm) to arrange the booking. There will be no other passage after this until the 9th January 2026.
