Short duration towpath closures and navigation closures may be required by the contractor between September 2025 and October 2026. Craft using the canal may be instructed to wait for up to 30 minutes before continuing their journey through the area. Please pass through the area with care.

BBV, a contractor working on behalf of High Speed 2 Limited, is undertaking works to construct a new railway viaduct over the canal. To carry out these works, the contractor has installed temporary sheet piling within the navigation, which reduces the width of the canal.
Short-duration towpath closures may be required by the contractor. Please pass through the area with care.
