Our specialist team have unfortunately been delayed in attending site as they have been busy dealing with other emergency's across the North West. The towpath side lock 64 remains open. A further update will be provided Thursday 19 June.
6/12/2025Due to issues with both paddles on the offside of Lock 64, the lock cannot currently be operated safely. We kindly ask customers to use the towpath side of the lock while our teams investigate the cause and carry out necessary repairs. A further update will be provided on Thursday 12 June.
