We plan to visit this lock over the next few months to investigate and plan in repairs.

We have managed to manually move some siltation from behind one gate, however one gate still won't fully open.

This means widebeam craft cannot operate the lock.

We have successfully carried out the full repair to the gate paddle on Greens Lock 68 on the Erewash Canal and it is now fully operational. However, the topside gates won't open fully due to siltation.

This means that widebeam boats will not be able to pass through the lock.

We don't currently have any timescales for when this siltation will be removed.
