Due to issues identified during delivery, progress on these works has been slower than anticipated. The team is now fully mobilised on site, and activity is continuing at pace. However, additional time is required to complete the remaining works to the expected standard. This restriction will therefore remain in place until 13 February. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

We will be on site working between the 05/01/26 and the 30/01/2026. At two points during this time the navigation will be restricted whilst we remove the bridge and replace it, we estimate this will be towards the beginning and middle of these dates.

Please note the towpath will no longer be closed during these works.
