Please be advised the towpath between Dutton Lock and Sutton Weaver Swing Bridge on the Weaver Navigation remains closed due to structural failure of the embankment. Due to the extent of the damage, funding and ongoing challenges, including severe weather causing more repairs to be undertaken across the region, this has required us to prioritise urgent repairs elsewhere. Our local team and engineers will continue to work together on a method of repair to the embankment and an update will be issued once a timeframe for completing the works becomes available.
