Please be advised, the offside paddle at Lock 2 on the Glasson Branch remains out of use whilst we continue to prioritise emergency works required along the Lancaster Canal.

Whilst the offside paddle at Lock 2 remains out of use, operation is still possible using the towpath side paddle only.

Please note that the Glasson Branch is currently closed due to limited water resources, you can see more on this here:

Please be advised, navigation is currently closed from Lock 1 to Lock 6 on the Glasson Branch of the Lancaster Canal due to vandalism.

Our local team are currently carrying out remedial repairs to the lock flight.
