Description
Please be advised that third-party contractors will be conducting inspection works on the overhead power lines north of Gailey Wharf on the Staffs & Worcester Canal.
To ensure the safety of all users during these works, there will be intermittent stoppages to both navigation and towpath traffic. These stoppages will be of short duration, approximately 10–15 minutes at a time.
Appropriate signage will be installed upstream and downstream of the work site to inform boaters and towpath users in advance. In addition, banksmen will be present to assist and direct traffic safely during stoppage periods.
