Description
Please be advised that third-party contractors will be carrying out essential maintenance works along the offside of the canal at Weston on the Trent and Mersey Canal. The works will involve the installation of sheet piles and the removal of the existing damaged and failing concrete wall.
Plant equipment will be operating in the water throughout the duration of the works. While no disruption to canal navigation is anticipated, we kindly ask canal users and visitors to take extra care in the area during this period.
