Description
There is a thick branch partially covering the navigation, on the upstream side of Tower Hill Bridge, Bridge 1a.
This has been reported and will be removed within 5 working days.
The navigation closure between Lock 1 to Lock 24 is still in place.
The branch should not cause any immediate issues due to no boat movement taking place due to the closure.
We will update the notice once the branch has been removed.
Updates
The thick branch has been removed and the navigation at this location is free from the obstacle.
Contractors removed the tree over the Easter weekend.
