Description
National Grid will be undertaking work to remove cables that cross the canal at two locations and replace them with new poles and cables on a slightly altered route. The locations of the works will be 400m downstream and 150m upstream from the towpath access point at Skew Bridge 19, High Street, Yelvertoft.
This work will commence on Sunday 11th May and complete on Friday May 23rd between the hours of 8am and 5pm.
There may be delays of up to 20 minutes to allow for cables to be removed from the towpath and above the canal.
Please approach with care and follow the advice of contractors on site.
