Description
Mexborough Lock is currently running on one sluice on the upstream.
The inoperable sluice appears to have burst the hydraulic ram.
M&E engineers and direct services are booked to attend site on Monday (7th April 2025) when there will be a full closure imposed to allow them to exchange the ram.
We will give an update on the status of Mexborough Low Lock by 4pm on the 7th April.
Updates
The hydraulic ram at Mexborough Low Lock has been repaired by M&E engineers and Direct Services.
The lock is open and available for use.
