There is a little improvement in the navigation as the pump is starting to take effect. However, it will remain closed as it is not ready to be opened up to navigation.

We will closely monitor the levels and update the notice when it has improved.

Over the weekend, there has been very little improvement in the water levels which are still too low to navigate the canal.

Though water pumps have been installed at Lock 12, it is a slow process to see any improvement in the water levels.

The navigation is still closed between Lock 1E to Lock 42E.
