Please be advised the pump out at Litherland Services on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal is closed due to mechanical fault.
Contractors have been instructed.
A further update will be provided Thursday 6 March.
Updates
We are pleased to advise, the pump out at Litherland Customer Service Facilities on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal are back open following a successful repair.
4/11/2025Please be advised the pump out at Litherland Services on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal remains closed due to a mechanical fault.
We are experiencing delays with parts which are currently on back order.
And a further update will be provided Friday 11 April.
4/4/2025Please be advised the pump out at Litherland Services on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal remains closed due to a mechanical fault.
The contractors have been unfortunately been delayed in reattending to replace the nozzle.
A further update will be provided Friday 4 April.
Please be advised the pump out at Litherland Services on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal remains closed due to a mechanical fault.
The contractors have attended site and replaced the faulty hose, and are now waiting further attendance to replace the nozzle.
A further update will be provided Tuesday 1 April.

We are still currently awaiting confirmation of attendance from our contractors as they are experiencing a high volume of work.

3/17/2025Please be advised the pump out at Litherland Services on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal remains closed due to a mechanical fault.
Due to delay on parts we anticipate the parts to be delivered this week and our contractors will return to site to install.

Contractors have attended site, and found further damage and will attend back to site to repair.
