Description
Please be advised third-party contractors will be onsite by Bridge 123A, Hoole Lane Bridge on the Shropshire Union Canal between Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 08:00 and Sunday, March 30 at 17:00 to install a pontoon in the water to undertaken repairs to offside wash wall.
We are not expecting disruption or delays, however we ask you to approach the area with caution and listen to any advice that may be given by the third-party contractors on site
Updates
Third party works are progressing well at Bridge 123A on the Shropshire Union Canal, unfortunately the works are taking longer than expected to repair the offside wash wall.
The additional work will be extended by 2 weeks, working towards completion for Sunday 13th April.
Whilst both the towpath and navigation still remain open, we politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and listen to any advice that may be given by the contractors on site.
