Description
We will be working with The Rothen Group to undertake repair work on the upper and lower structure of Nutts Bridge 16, Hinckley including the towpath. This work will take place from Wednesday 26th February until Friday 11st April between the hours of 8.00 am and 4:00 pm.
Towpath visitors are advised that there is access to a diversion route by crossing the road on the south approach to the bridge and using the existing access points to re-join the towpath.
Boating customers are advised to approach with care and to follow the advice of the Trust representatives on site.
Updates
There will be a restriction to the navigation on Thursday 3 April and Friday 4 April at Nutts Bridge 16 on the Ashby Canal while we continue repairs to the Bridge.
Passage may be delayed by up to an hour and please follow the advice given by representatives on site.
We aim to have completed all the repair works on this bridge by Friday 11 April.
