Description
Third Party contractors are replacing overhead conductors above the canal and towpath, between Bridge 76, Barston Lane Brick Arch to Bridge 78, Hampton Lane. The method used by contractors to replace the conductors is designed to keep the conductors at the same height as they are in their current state.
The canal and towpath will remain open and will be marshalled when pulling conductors with signage and banksmen when required, who will instruct the works to stop if deemed necessary or unsafe for boaters or pedestrians.
