Structural damage on bridge 47 has raised safety concerns due to falling debris, posing a risk to anyone using the towpath beneath it.
The towpath is closed at this point.

Structural damage on bridge 47 has raised safety concerns due to falling debris, posing a risk to anyone using the towpath beneath it.
Locations of the towpath closure have been adjusted as there are no access points in between these locations.
This update is to deter people walking all the way down to the damaged bridge and be tempted to move the safety fences currently across the towpath to avoid a long trip back.
