Description
Third party contractors will be erecting scaffolding and encapsulated pipe work will be carried out for abrasive blasting and inspection, followed by the application of a 4-coat epoxy paint system.
Please be aware that there may be a brief delay for boaters and towpath users until the scaffolding is fully installed. We kindly ask that all boaters with canopies remove them prior to navigating under the scaffolding.
For safety and coordination, please follow the instructions of contractors on-site.
Updates
The contractors are waiting for some works to be signed off and are unable to remove the scaffolding until this has been completed. This is delaying the work until 30th April.
3/28/2025The contractor has encountered unforeseen issues that require additional attention, resulting in an extension of the planned refurbishment work until 3rd March.
