Description
Please be advised Sparks Lane Services, on the Rufford Branch on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal is currently out of use due to a problem with the drainage and further maintenance that is required to elsan and toilet.
An update will be provided Monday 9 Decemeber.

Our contractors have attended site to carry out the repairs and have unfortunately found further damage.
An update will be provided Wednesday 30 April.
4/2/2025Please be advised Sparks Lane Services, on the Rufford Branch on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal remains out of use due to drainage issues.
Our contractors have unfortunately been delayed attending to site. They have rescheduled their visit to carry out the repairs to Monday 31 March.
An update will be provided Tuesday 1 April.

Our contractors have planned their return to site to carry out the repairs on Tuesday 25 March.

Our contractors are awaiting on the necessary parts that are on order, to then return to site to carry out the repairs within the facility.

Contractors have attended site and unfortunately identified further damage to our drainage, and therefore will be carrying out further investigations, to plan a method of repair.

Due to unforeseen circumstances our contractors have been delayed and are in the process of rescheduling a site visit.
An update will be provided Tuesday 4 February.

We are expecting multiple contractors to reattend on Monday 27th January to carry out repairs.
