Description
We have been informed by Network Rail that Selby Rail Bridge is presently unable to swing.
Vessels not requiring a swing can still pass. For details of available headroom please contact the bridge operator on 0330 858 7749 before planning passage.
Network Rail maintenance teams are attending and will reopen the bridge as soon as circumstances permit.
This notice will be updated as soon as further information becomes available.
Updates
Network Rail has confirmed that repairs to Selby Railway Bridge have now been completed and the bridge is fully operational, meaning it is able to swing to allow the passage of boats.

1/31/2025We have been informed by Network Rail that Selby Rail Bridge is still unable to swing.
Vessels not requiring a swing can still pass, however, there will be no one to answer calls at the office regarding available headroom on December 25th & 26th 2024.
For details of available headroom on all other days over the Christmas period, please contact the bridge operator on 0330 858 7749 before planning passage.
